HISRM Advisory Board
HISRM association provides solutions to the stormwater and environmental concerns of Hawaii’s industry sectors and participants that are represented. The goals of this organization is:
- Create mutually beneficial alliances with other Trade Associations
- Provide essential industry-specific tools and services, training, promotion, and regulatory or legislative representation
- Act as the unbiased administrator and coordinator of third-party inspectors
- Assuring the fairness of the measurement systems used
- Coordinating awards programs, either singularly or in conjunction with other trade associations
- Promoting legislative and regulatory support and addressing disputes, if needed
The Hawaii Stormwater Excellence (HSEP) program oversight and handling of disputes related to inspection findings and performance scores are the management responsibilities of the HISRM Advisory Board. The Advisory Board provides industry guidance and direction of program. It decides the ‘rules’ of the program and the details of site specific, member and third-party inspector management. Each Advisory Board Member is allowed to hold a seat for up to two years and can be renewed, if board member chooses. Meetings are held approximately once a month and each member is required to be actively involved in all aspects of HISRM management.
